I have to differ with the 3 reviews. While the tea was delicious (Darjeeling and a fruit flavored tea) the quality of food was lacking and did not meet expectations. The tea lunch at $12 is very reasonable and includes a choice of 3 salads. Presentation was nice for spinach salad with mandarin orange segments, sliced strawberries w/raspberry dressing but when I dug into the middle of my salad the leaves were wilted. My companion had a colorful Caesar salad served with red bell peppers and green olives. The presentation of tea sandwiches were served all on one plate (for two people). Tea lunch comes with what the menu described as Mediterranean sandwiches but got a mini croissant w/chicken and pineapple chunks. The flavor was bland and the croissant could have come from Costco. Normally with tea sandwiches I expect the crusts to be cut off but this was not the case, a pear and cream cheese on wheat. The spread was very thin and also lacking in flavor. Dessert consisted of two small half-dollar sized scones spread with a jam and topped with unsweetened whipped cream. Shortbread cookie was the winner-served in a pie shaped form and very good. What should also be noted is that the tea room shares the same space with thrift /consignment shop, separated by a white picket fence and a few china cabinets strategically down the center of the building as a divider. The decor is tastefully decorated with Victorian and floral designs and antiques for sale, but to hear people going through the clothing racks detracted from the overall experience.
