Lovely setting - second floor of a nicely-restored dry goods store - airy with lots of natural light and not too cutesy. You choose your own china teacup which is a nice touch. The only fault - the iceburg lettuce salad was not worth the eating. Better to leave it off the menu, maybe a little bowl of cold soup (cumcumber?) instead.

Jane, I'm so sorry that you were disappointed in our little salad. We have just added that as a 5th course just as a bit of something extra. We do prepare a cold cucumber soup for some of our special occassions, I hope you get to try it sometime. We will be doing hot soup soon as the weather cools off some! Look forward to pouring you tea again soon.
