The Royal Tea Room and Gift Shoppe
I have enjoyed The Royal Tea Room over the years as the perfect place for relaxing and catching up with good friends over perfectly prepared tea and delicious treats. My most recent visit was with 2 of my closest friends and our mothers, who didn't know each other! It was such a splendid afternoon in every way. Denise Winter owns this beautiful little spot, complete with one of Tampa's best gift shops, and lovingly prepares all of the food daily. From her scones (cinnamon on this day), to her wonderful mini chicken salad croissants, cucumber and herb cheese sandwiches cut in flower shapes, and airy little puffs filled with tangy goat cheese, to an assortment of fruit and chocolate desserts, our tea time really couldn't have been more perfect! Our birthday girl loved her crown! Thanks Denise, for a great day and a lovely memory for us all!
