Tea House on Los Rios
I had a birthday celebration at the tea house in October.They had a table ready for us...outside.We wanted inside seating. They made us wait an extra ten minutes for inside seating. The waitress was young and did the minimum. We had to share the tea strainer. Why couldn't we have our own tea strainers? I've had other parties at the tea house within the last year. I've always been pleased with the enthusiasm of the waitresses, there knowledge of the history of the area, there willingness to share it with the customers. There was none of that yesterday. I've always liked the scones, but they were unusually dry yesterday. All, in all, the food was just o.k., the service was slow, and I couldn't understand why they didn't ask us if we wanted inside or outside seating. It was a little weird, and I was embarrassed that I brought my friends there.
