White Oak Tea Tavern
What a lovely experience! The dining area with its 18th century charm complete with old beams, log walls, and stone firplace provides the perfect backdrop for the outstanding menu of fine teas and other delectables! The chicken salads are worth remembering -- not the same, predictable varieties typically offered at other cafes and lunch spots. The teas are custom blend and brewed to perfection. Seasonal varieties keep the tavern fresh year round! The service is impecable -- expect to meet and chat with White Oak's owner and visionary, the multi-talented Jennifer Aylor! But beware, you have to pass through the gift area on your way in and out, and I challenge you to escape without buying something from it's elegant collection of fine teas and tea accessories, exceptional bath & body products, and other unique gift items. Even my husband loves this place! Come on by and see for yourself!
