The Victorian Parlor
My friend and I had tea here this week. The atmosphere and tearoom itself is very well done in a beautiful Victorian style with 2 rooms to take tea in plus the garden gazebo. A great attention to detail - especially the Peacock room ,the garden and even the bathrooms are decorated. Paula and Darryl are friendly 'hosts with the most' and give you history of the home and photos in the room as well as serve you tea. The fruit cup, scones, soup and dessert are very delicious. The scones with the devonshire cream were my favorite. They have an amazing 6 courses! The gift shop is quaint and the china used is so pretty and presented well. I would highly recommend this tea room, and I intend to return in the future. My only criticism is the lack of any black tea( we were served green peach and raspberry)and other varieties of tea. It would be a nice addition to an already wonderful experience!
