Calabash Garden Tea Room
My friends and I celebrated the holdidays together at our home in Pawley's Island. We had heard wonderful things about this tea room from neighbors and frieds.We were told it was well worth the 55 minute drive to Calabash. Boy were they ever right!! Calabash is just the sweetest little village with lots of shopping,antiquing and a ton of consignment and resale shops. But the best part was this charming tea room tucked away among quaint shopping cottages. From the minute we arrived until leaving we were treated to a wonderful lunch with devine scones, unique teas and delicate dessers. Everything, everything, is prepared ON SIGHT but her Baklava is just to die for, it literally melts in your mouth. We had the holiday, peppermint scones, which were the best I have ever tasted, light and delicious. Trish and Anna were attentive and friendly. What an amazing experience. We all felt like we have known these girls forever, like family. Whether you live in the area or are just visiting, you must go to this tea room. It is worth the trip. Thanks girls, you made our visit a day to remember!! We'll be back, you can count on it.
