White Linen Tea House
we visited the white linen tea room in june of 2008 and could not have had a more delightful time! the request for a vegetarian version of high tea came with a smile as delicious finger sandwiches of red pepper and cream, tomato basil mozzarella , cucumber dill, fresh strawberries with peanut butter. asparagus and sweet pepper were presented along with traditional chicken salad, egg salad etc. the pots of tea were amazing as we all shared between loose leaf and bagged tea varieties, and purchased some to come home they were so good. the tray of fresh fruit and sweet delights such as lemon squares, cheese cake, chocolate p. butter squares, pecan nut tarts etc were perfect . the extra surprises such as the appetizer to start and the chocolate tea pot sucker upon completion sealed the deal.... we will be back! :) there are antique barn co ops behind the tea room for browsing as well so you can easily make an entire afternoon of this adorable. immaculate. soothing. destination!
