The Scone Shoppe
I just love the pomegranate green tea that is served hot or cold. My favorite is the iced tea and drink it all year round. I think they only use tea bags but find the tea is wonderful (not sure what the big deal is about loose tea anyway). We love the soups and sandwiches. The daily specials are always delicious and Theresa uses seasonal ingredients. If the crepes are on the menu they are a must have. The scone ladies tea is great with tea sandwiches and sweets. The scones are great and freeze well. Sometime she has lemon cupcakes that are served with the tea that I have tried several times to recreate and can't perfect. If you are looking for a wonderful relaxing lunch spot at the Jersey Shore this is the place.
