High Tea Cottage
I heard about this place from some Aussie friends and they said they serve true Aussie food, we were sceptical but thought we would give this a go, sure enough they offer the real deal, an Australian Tea Classic. It was fantastic! Meat Pies from home, served with the most beautiful tasty organic salad, scones just like my Mum makes and finished off with a true Pavlova just like my Gran makes at home in Brisbane. It was a most amazing meal and all served on Royal Albert china. I had some of the most beautiful Caramel tea ever and the lavender lemonade is thirst quenching, tasty and ice cold. My American friends had a 3 course tea, Traditional with little Tea sandwiches, scones from just out of the oven and desserts and they all said it was the best. Thank you High Tea Cottage for adding Australia to your list of internationl cuisine served at the cottage, it was jsut as good as a trip home and very authenitic. I will come back agin soon and tell all the Aussies in town. Jenn its amazing!
