Abigail's Tea Room
My friends and I visited Abigails Tea Room on 9-11-10. I loved the atmosphere and victorian decor. One of my friends and I have been to many tea rooms. We were slightly disappointed in the presentation of the food and the small bland sandwiches. We had the high tea, sandwiches and desert were served on a tier plate. It would have been nice to have a small plate to put what we were eating on also. The sandwiches were ok but disappointed that they were not anything special and very little filling. I have tea parties for my 4 granddaughters at my home and create unique sandwiches and desserts. The sandwiches could be layered and coated on the edges with parsley, chopped nuts, etc. Overall, it is a lovely tea room to relax,enjoy tea and time with friends.
