Candleberry Tea Room & Cafe / The Gift Box
The ladies of my family tour Kentucky and visit tea houses. We decided to visit candleberry since it is listed as number one in Kentucky. We made reservations for high tea, when we arrived they didnot have our reservation correct. Some of us drove 2 hours and some were here for their first high tea. We ordered off the menu. Some never got their food! We asked for more crackers twice and got one package each time which became comical. We had to get up twice to get someone for more drinks. Not sure how this place got first. We brought 18 people and none of us will ever be back!

There was a misunderstanding about the reservation for High Tea. We are not sure what happened but took full responsibility for the error. Since High Tea preparation takes several hours, we were not able to correct this mistake. However, we attempted to provide the quality service and food that we offer everyday for lunch. This group was disappointed from the start, and we can understand that and feel absolutely terrible about our mistake with the reservation.
