Silver Spoon Tea House
Several years ago while visiting my husband's sister and family in Spokane my sister- in-law dragged me to a local tea house. I found the atmosphere and offerings to be quite unremarkable. So when in Spokane for another visit in September I was anything but thrilled when my host announced another afternoon tea. I put on my best smile, graciously accepted and away we went. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at The Silver Spoon Tea House. The lovely Victorian was impressive and welcoming, not at all ordinary. From the moment we stepped into the superbly appointed establishment I was intrigued by the ambience of a long ago era. My request for a tour of the private teas rooms was graciously granted by the owner. The amazing selection of teas and sumptuous savories were to die for. On our next visit to Spokane rest assured I will be the one insisting on tea at The Silver Spoon Tea House.
