This is a great place. A friend and I had the owners to ourselves one rainy weekday and they were incredibly generous with their knowledge of tea and owning a teashop. They entertained us until 4:00 pm (I can't believe we spent that much time.) Food was excellent...Lillian wouldn't serve the soup until it was perfect...and well worth the wait. We walked in to the odor of fresh baked date bread and didn't resist having some. Great food and really fun place. We'll be back.
The only 'negative' is that the tea sandwiches were 'average'. too skimpy. Every other 'course' was terrific! tarts, scones, tea, etc. were great. Staff was attentive and helpful. Love the teacup chandelier and sconces.
