The Pink Bicycle Tea Room
This was not a busy time for the tea shop, since I was the only one enjoying tea. This was my first visit and maybe the last because I found an amazing tea shop in Frederick, MD. First impression of this tea shop was that it needed a deep cleaning and organizing. The restroom was really dirty. I also felt rushed when choosing my tea selection. The soup was very tasty, black bean, and the sandwiches were also fresh and delicious with a nice variety. The scone seemed to be microwaved a bit to long, and was a little dry. I did like that the scone wasn't very sweet and therefore complemented the cream and jam very well. The fruit was exceptionally fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed the house tea and purchased some to take home. I know how to brew loose leaf tea but someone might not, so I think it is good customer service to at least ask someone if they know how to brew loose leaf tea when they purchase it.
