Silver Spoon Tea House
Attended the Downton Abbey tea today with my mother. The food was fabulous especially love the chocolate biscuit cake. The staff were so friendly and helpful taking us through each course. The scones melted in your mouth and each course was equally as delicious. My mother uses a walker and it was so helpful that we were able to park so close to the handy cap ramp. We played Downton trivia and our hostess played an antique Victorian music box for our enjoyment as well as providing Victorian stereoscopes and viewing cards for our amusement. The setting of this tea house is one you will not want to miss. Even though the tea house was full and the servers extremely bust they did a excellent job of making my mother and I feel special. I already booked the mothers day tea so I can return and share another lovely experience with my mother. Thank you Silver Spoon, I am so happy to have found this wonderful tea house.
