Serendipity
Beautiful room with pretty table setting. I arrived early for tea time and I was seated and served a delicious tea service. The tea sandwitches were tasty and presented well

Lady Mendl's
I travel around the country and visit tea rooms Lady Mendl's is the most beautiful and has the best food of any place I have ever been. This is a must if anyone is visiting NY. You feel like you are vising a rich aunt from the 1800's that has a beautiful NY townhouse. There is generously portion of tea sandwiches. I had the layered crepe cake that was outstanding.

Emerald Necklace Inn Tea Room
This is a Bed and Breakfast, hair salon, gift shop and tea room. I think the owner would be better focusing on one business. The tea room is lovely but the food is not very good. It is expensive for what you get. The scones were cold and tasteless. The tea sandwiches were not very special. Would not go back. The gift shop was cheap looking nick nacks. She does have a selection of tea but the shop turned me off so that I did not even bother to look. Also, having a hair salon in the same building as a tea room is not very inviting.

Brown Palace Hotel
I was dissapointed in my visit to the Brown Palace. I was looking forward to a special presentation. The scones were very sugary and ordinary. The sandwiches were 4 open face squares of bread. 3pieces of miniture sweets that were not very tasty. The price is high and you get very little for it. This is one to skip.
