Candleberry Tea Room & Cafe / The Gift Box
My husband and I used to live in Frankfort and came often to enjoy lunch at Candelberry's. Now we live an hour away but still come as often as we can. It's worth the trip! The owners and their staff are genuinely friendly and provide thoughtful service. The food is very good -- be sure to save room for those terrific desserts. And if the men out there think tea rooms are just for ladies, think again. Candleberry's offers a wide variety of hearty sandwiches. Their Kentucky Hot Brown is simply the best! Another bonus is that you can purchase tins of loose tea to take home to enjoy later. They have LOTS of varieties available.
