Pickwick Society Tearoom Gifts & Antiques
My friend and I wanted to get together to catch up and have a nice lunch. We chose the Pickwick Society Tearoom. The choice could not have been better. From the moment we walked in we felt relaxed and welcomed. We had chosen to order the full tea and what a fabulous experience. The owner came to chat with us and she was soft spoken and very informative. She explained the tea and the menu. We had delicious soup, scones to die for, hot and cold sandwiches that could not be finished and deserts we actually brought home.(Except for maybe a lttle taste!) The tea was out of this world!!! My friend and I sat and visited for over two hours. The wait staff came to check on us, refilled the tea, and encourage us to stay until we were ready to leave. We have decided to try and have a visit and tea every couple of months.No stress, no rushing, just a great place to go to truly have a lovely afternoon!! Thanks for doing this for us!
