Country Dove Gifts & Tea Room
In western Oklahoma, a pleasant surprise awaits those that venture off of Interstate 40 into Elk City. The Country Dove Tea Room occupies a vintage two-story house that transports visitors back to a gentler time that is slower-paced. As soon as one enters the vestibule, one's breathing slows to a more relaxed pace. A small bookstore featuring Christian books occupies the vestibule. The tea room and kitchen grace the rest of the first floor. A whimsical gift shop and the rest room beckon visitors upstairs. While the tea offerings are good and the food is tasty, it is the welcoming staff and the graceful decor that beckon us to adjust our travel schedule to experience the Country Dove again and again.
