Cynthia's Tea Garden
I have been to several tea rooms in the bay area and the United States, and was not impressed with Cynthia's Tea Garden. For $22, the high tea included a pot of tea (from a choice of only 5 teas), a fruit cup, 3 types of sandwiches, and a plate of desserts. The sandwiches were not particularly memorable, and the desserts were average. Unlike other tea rooms that allow you to eat your scone as you like, Cynthia cuts the scone in half and smears preserves and a dollop of cream on it. For about the same price or less, you can have a much nicer experience at other tea rooms in the area.
