Tranquility Tea Room
Visited this tearoom for my 50th birthday! Cozy, charming, friendly...our party sat in the back, by a window, and it felt very much like being in Carmel where residences and businesses are mixed together. The tables were so creatively decorated with a Wizard of Oz theme. Each table decorated for a different character. We sat at the Cowardly Lion's table. The food was delicious with each course better than the last until we got to the desserts which were outstanding! The service was wonderful. And the tea was hot and high quality. It was a perfect afternoon and a place I will visit again. If you're looking for a Hotel Ritz tea room experience, this is not it. But if you're looking for a cozy, charming tea room to frequent with family, friends AND children, this is the place. Bravo, Tranquility Tea Room!
