The Tea Cupboard
The Tea Cupboard is an absolute must stop location if you are anywhere near Cumberland, MD! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, they will be happy to point you in the right direction of what tea to try out of their vast selection. The store itself is decorated beautifully and the front windows are always stunning! Then there's the Tea Room in the back of the store...the most cozy, inviting space ever. Try a Queen City Tea-my favorite because I don't have to pick just one thing-a sampling of all of their delicious homemade goodies, soup, quiche, scones with devonshire cream and lemon curd, finger sandwiches, and desserts (the mini chocolate chip cookies with chocolate filling are to die for), paired with your very own pot of tea. Mixing the devonshire cream and lemon curd on your scone is a must! I could just go on and on about how wonderful the tea selection, atmosphere, and food are at The Tea Cupboard, check it out, there's no way you will be disappointed!!
