The Avalon Tearoom and Pastry Shoppe
wouldn't recommend this this dull place to anyone. unfriendly service and the owner was rude. it's obviously a place for whites only. i never experienced such prejudice people in my life.
Tearoom response:
The afternoon that these women came in, we were also serving tea to other customers. The children (in particular one little girl) was running around, broke some china, and in general not behaving like you would expect in any tearoom or restaurant. Two women who were having tea complained and said they would not want to come backbecause of the disturbance that was going on. It had nothing to do with race, it was about being respectful to other people.
