High Tea Cottage
This was my 1st visit to this tea room and my friends 3rd, she took me here today for my birthday. The experience was fantastic. From the minute we walked in the front door we were greeted like old friends. The interior is charming just like entering a private home. The color scheme is very relaxing yet elegant with tapastry, on the walls, fresh flowers on the tables. They have loose leaf tea and we were able to smell our selections before we made our choice. The tea sandwiches were very fresh, the chicken is the best I have ever tasted and my friend loved the curried egg. The scones were just out of the oven and so yummy, the sweet morsals more than we could eat so we took a 'doggy bag' which we enjoyed after dinner tonight. This teahouse is the best I have been to in all of Southern California. Make reservations and expect to spend 2 to 3 hours just relaxing, it's well worth the 2 hour drive we made to go. We will be back before the summer is over! Exceptional!!! Oh and I received a necklace as a birthday gift too, very classy!
