Cottage Cafe' of Largo
Today was the fourth time I have visited this tea room, each time at a different time of day and each time I have had a wonderful experience. Today was the most impressive--high tea. There were 6 of us in attendance in celebration of a young friend's recent graduation. We started with a pot of wonderful tea mixed expressely for the tea room. The scones were served with clotted cream AND lemon curd. Then there were 4 types of delightful sandwiches none of which were run of the mill-(ham and cream cheese on raisin bread, round cucumber, yummy chicken salad on tiny croisant and sweet roast beef with jam. The owner chef says she varies the selection because a lot of people come back often, Desserts were delectable. My favorite, of course was a chocolate one. This tea room has been a hit each time I have visited. Oh I forgot to mention that the decor is keeps visitors busy noticing all the beautiful antiques, tea pots etc. The whole experience is A plus
