Yesterday's Cafe & Tea Room
My husband and I had a wonderful Afternoon Tea experience at Yesterday's Cafe & Tea Room. The service was impeccable; the staff made us feel very relaxed and at home. The tea selection was extensive, and our tea was prepared to perfection. Everything we tasted was delicious, and we felt the staff did a great job in pairing each of our selected teas with the food that would most properly complement them: the Blueberry Rooibos was great with the Earl Grey scones; the Earl Grey Cream paired nicely with the savories; and the Darjeeling was perfect with the bread pudding. It is obvious that the owner loves tea and is very knowledgeable, and she enjoys sharing this love and knowledge with her customers. Everything was elegantly served, but the atmosphere remained casual and relaxed. It was a perfect balance of sofistication and the everyday. An ideal way to celebrate an anniversary!
