The Pink Bicycle Tea Room
We went to Pink Bicycle for a Mother's Day tea and it was a disaster. They were under new management, and for such a special and busy occasion, they were understaffed and ill prepared. The silverware had crusted food and lipstick marks on it from previous patrons. The dishes were chipped, and we had to flag down someone to come and take our order after having been seated for 20 minutes. We were not given silverweare, we had to ask for sugar, it was just basically a mess. We left prior to the tea being served, because with the silverware, the plates and the general chaos, it did not seem like the right place for a 3-generation mother's day. We went to Tea Lace and Roses instead in Culpeper, which was a delight. Unfortunately, Pink Bicycle is only 30 minutes from my house and Tea Lace is 90 minutes, but it was well worth the drive. We will not be returning to Pink Bicycle. I am glad I discovered Tea Map so that I could finally leave a review. The outside of the building looks adorable, and much can be done with this venue. I hope they get it organized.

Miss Minerva's Tea Room & Gift Shop
We absolutely love this tea room, and we go at least once per year to celebrate a special occasion. We went for Mother's Day this year and were not disappointed. Lovely people, wonderful 'Spring' tea and fantastic finger foods!
