Patty and Nicole, I want to thank you for making my mother's 90th birthday a most memorable one. We all had such a delightful afternoon last Saturday--good food and good company. You both have been so wonderful to my mom and have made her feel so at home in the home she actually grew up in. How special it was to celebrate her 90th birthday in the house she had lived in as a young girl and woman. My aunt was born in that house, and both my sister and I lived there for a short time. That house was always at the core of our family gatherings and many an afternoon was spent at the house on 964 Perry Highway swinging on the porch swing. As I had mentioned to you before, it is so comforting to know that joy, laughter and lots of life are emanating from that terrific old house once again. Thanks for embracing my mom and my family.
