We went to Tranquility Tea Room Monday February 20, 2012. From the outside it doesn't look like much but the interior is decorated very nicely. The drop ceiling was covered with lacey fabric make it a more intimate setting. The owner has different themes, we had the Peter Pan theme. The decorations were fun and so were the trivia questions that were very challenging. The variety of teas were more than adequate, the food was very good. I always think portions can be bigger but that is just me. All three of us were able to use our coupons and that allowed us to upgrade to the higest service saving us $2.00 each. We would go back but we are on a mission to go to every tea room within 60 miles of us. It may be a while before we get back. The owner was hospitable and friendly. We loved the hats and had a lot of fun trying on so many and taking crazy pictures. Check out the shot of us sitting at the table.
Mimi and I went to Belladonna on Tuesday December 27,2011. Most people go for just the tea we wanted a complete experience including food. We were not disappointed. Belladonna is located just minutes from the freeway in a 1954 Victorian Style home. It is only 900 sq. ft. but they get everythng in and you neveer feel squished. Belladonna even provides hats to extend your experience. The variety of teas was lenghty (20+) but they also had seasonal offerings. We had the Candy Cane tea and the White Chocolate. They were great. Our scones, petite sandwiches and savory sweets were all excellent. I almost forgot the delicious tomato basil soup. The soup was an unexpected pleasure. Donna and her daughter met all of our needs and spent time visiting with all guests. We shopped in the small but very tastefully stocked store. They sell tea supplies, as well as home decor and gift ideas. The price was fabulous for our tea experience. The prices in the store were also very reasonable. It was a pleasant surprise to find this lovely establishment in Lancaster less than an hour from home. We will be going back.
Dearest Barbara and Mimi,<BR> It was such a delight to serve you and share stories with you. We do love our job and playing in the kitchen. We never know what God's going to do with our imaginations. So glad we could pamper you two. Hope to see you soon, until then May God continue to Bless You Both, Donna and Chelsie
