Hodgepodge Gifts and Tearoom
We are a Red Hatter group from the area and had lunch here at the cafe on Nov.10 and was very disappointed for what we received for the $13 it cost us. The lunch consisted of a cup of soup but it was actually a half cup and no crackers. We had a half of of panini sandwich and some potato chips, We also felt they could have included a pickle with the sandwich. Our dessert was some cookies that were on a plate at the table when we entered. We also had coffee or tea. We all felt we paid too much for what we had. I will add it is a nice place but costly for what we had. The woman who waited on us was not friendly like most waitresses you get and had no smiles for us. We won't go there again as not one of us were pleased and there was a lot of us. We did not have teas I rated this the b est I could.

Dear Shirley, Thank you for your response. There are a couple things I would like to explain. The $13 did include tax and gratuity, and your lunch was pre-picked by your leader. Secondly, we had a very busy lunch that day in the cafe and all of us were over-taxed. We had a extremely favorable write-up in the Buffalo News since your event was planned, and we have been pleasantly swamped everyday since. That particular day was especially crazy and we were running out of everything, including service-ware and cutlery. I hope you will try us again, at least personally.
