Have been to many many Tea rooms - and to complasain about paying for the pot of tea when the Ladies Tea is only 10.95 is laughable!! EVERYONE charges more than that - and yes it includes a pot of tea - but the price is xloser to $20.00 (or more) than $10.00

My friend & I drove 30 miles to visit this tea room -the picture on the website was very generous as compared to the actual house The tea selection was very good, the scones were very tasty, however they could have come out of the oven a lot sooner. The soup was absolutley delicious as was the salad. I cannot give the tea sandwiches a good grade, not even a 'fair' as they were ALL BREAD and a smear of filling. The dessert choices were 3 of chocolate and one of a fruit..so you were pretty much out of luck if you didn't really love chocolate. The seating is also, extremely 'snug' . Even with other empty tables available a party was seated so close to us - we could almost touch elbows and hear each others conversations. Sorry - too far to drive to come again for this little tea room

We visit a new Tea Room every month (or more often) This is definitely of the Victorian 'ilk'. The ambience was very pleasant the food was average or better.. nothing was outstanding, but than nothing was poor. The service was excellent. Our server was the owner's daughter and she was extremely efficient and VERY pleasant. She is an asset to the business. Altho' this is a small shop, we all managed to ALSO find something to purchase...there is a nice little selection of tea items, such as cups, spoons and TEA for sale. She also has a selection of Red Hat items.A nice little tea experience.

My friend and I try to visit a new tea room at lest once a month. This was truly a delightful experience. The Victorian House itself is charming and our server, Patricia was delightful. EVERYTHING at tea was homemade, made from scratch. The lemon curd and Devon Cream were WONDERFUL. The sandwiches and scones were fresh & delicious. Shopping was also a pleaseure.Purchaxed the MOST unique hat and Tea BOOK.Can't wait to return.
