My friend and I had a wonderful experience at Moffat's last February but this year what a disappointment. We had reservations and when we got there no one was there. We waited and waited but no one showed up. We tried calling but to no avail. This is not the way to run a business. I hope no one else has this experience with Moffat's. Not my favorite tea room any more.
Really Susan...I spoke with you on the 4th during my first break from the hospital bedside of my daughter...I apologized repeatedly for the situation and explained that my staff had called all the guests, but could not find your phone number on the reservation list. As you knew from your first visit with us, that was not typicall behavior for my tearoom. Most people would have a first thought that something had happened, but not you...no you left nasty messages and then wrote this review...even when we spoke and you knew I was upset, you were still nasty...I have been blessed to have so many wonderful people come in and have tea with us over the past 5 years...so I think we will be just fine without your patronage. Many thanks and my daughter is doing much better...not that you asked or anything...
