    Hi Bonnie, WOW, what an awesom field trip. Below are some comment the 5th graders wanted you to know. 'I didn't know much about the history of Elizabeth City because I've only lived here for three years, however, since our trip I feel that I'm more knowledgeable of this beautiful city.' (Elizabeth Kauaihilo) ' I've lived here for three years and have rode through the some of the same areas we walked but never knew anything about the historic building.' (Magan Jackson) 'I didn't even know that we had an old hotel that was built in 1872.' (Ariana Wiggins) ' We wish we could have gone with you guys,our friends told us about.' (Jordan Harpe, Elizabeth Breaux) ' I took the tour last summer as a part of the Summer Enrichment Program and learned a lot, but by taking the tour with my classmates, I learned more to add to my knowledge bank of Elizbeth City's historical facts.' (Christina Lavinder) ' I've lived in Elizabeth City for eight years, however, I knew very little about its history. After the field trip I'm able to share my insight with my parents.'
