Barbara's Victorian Teahouse and Boutique
On May 4, 2008, we celebrated Mother's Day a week early to avoid the crowds. We were definitely pleased to have chosen Barbara's Teahouse to celebrate. What we experienced was beyond our expectations. Our table was prepared beautifully. The entire house was just wonderful. Everything was delicious, but my favorite is the raspberry vinaigrette salad; it was just out of this world..(too bad the recipe is a secret!) There were 4 types of sandwiches which were so filling we had to slow down to make room for dessert. We were allowed to try as many teas as we wanted and they were all great! Try the apricot, raspberry coconut and strawberry peach teas when you get a chance. The entire atmosphere was so delightful and we were able to pack so much fun and excitement in the two hours we had together. My mother, mother-in-law, 2 sisters, aunt, niece and cousin and myself were so surprised when at the end, Barbara gave us all a Mother's Day Gift. We were all so impressed we will definitely go back with more family and friends. WE LOVE YOU BARBARA!
