Charlotte's Tea Room
Charlotte's is worth the trip, a little gem tucked away in a 19th century building, so you are insulated from the street and can even sit on a flowery deck over a stream while you enjoy your tea. I confess to ordering my favorite tea again and again (Big Red Sun), so I haven't tried all they offer, but the tea itself is served well: steamy fresh and 'bottomless.' The Tea for Two is a bargain with an array of treats from scones to sandwiches. I have taken a group of 20 to Charlotte's (with ample advance notice, of course) for a luncheon, and everyone loved it. Mmm, fresh cranberry scones with clotted cream...
