Moffat's Gaelic Dish
It was four weeks ago yesterday that my daughter and I went to tea at Moffat's. I've been to a number of tea rooms. This one is quite small, but very friendly, and the food was delectable. The only thing that rather surprised me was that we were not offered a choice of teas. That wasn't a problem, however, since we were both happy with the tea of the day. What I especially appreciated was that this was my first tea after needing to eat gluten-free. My daughter had told them this when making the reservations, so Moffat's was prepared. No, I didn't get to have a scone, but what I did get to have was SO GOOD! Thank you, Moffat's, that I don't have to give up High Tea just because I need to eat gluten-free!
