Belladonna Gift Boutique and Tea Room
My daughter invited me to join her and my little 3-yr.old granddaughter to celebrate my birthday at Belladonna's. I noticed this quaint little house but was not prepared in the least for the opulence that surrounded us when we entered the gift shop that leads into what was to be an experience I will never forget. I have enjoyed other tea rooms, namely in the Empress Hotel, Victoria, BC as well as one in Albuquerque, NM and afternoon tea at the very upscale Hanalei Hotel in Kauai, Hawaii. But none has captured the whimsical dining experience we reveled in today at Belladonna's. The choices of so many intriguing sounding teas, scones, tea sandwiches,salads, soups and desserts was daunting but when Donna served us (after having burned her hand for the first time ever while preparing the teas) we were rewarded with the yummiest array of gastronomical delights we could have ever dreamed up. Clearly, Donna was sent from Heaven itself to give us a preview of what it must be like there. Bless you, Donna, for the talents you have been given and that you share with all who pass through your enchanted portals. It leaves us with only one other choice - to return again as soon as possible.

Dearest Beverly, You are so blessed to have such a legacy of 16 grandchildren to follow in your footsteps of faithfully serving the Lord. Your princess that came with you to tea was so precious I just wanted to sit down and have tea with you. I don't believe we deserve such high praise for our little tea room but we do love pampering our guests and playing in the kitchen. I look forward to meeting more of your delightful family.
