We have always enjoyed coming to the Phoenician for afternoon tea and on this occasion on 11/26/11 which my sister and I took our mother, sister in law and granddaughters for another wonderful afternoon, not realizing at the time that we would all lose Mom in a couple of months to her 3 time fighting cancer. We will all remember how happy she was on that day, food was excellent, the server, Wanda exceptional and the lovely Christmas decorations. We took wonderful pictures and they will be cherished for the years to come. Again, thank you for helping us make another memory.

    Tearoom response:

After New Years, we took a short trip to visit my mother in law & decided to see if there were any tea houses located in Las Vegas. We traveled from Phoenix, with my 14 yr old niece & decided to check it out while visiting. We made reservations from Phoenix for High Tea on Friday at 2pm, which to our surprise was only about 4 blocks from my mother in law's house. When we arrived we noticed that it did not have the normal decor that you find in an English tearoom, don't let this stop you! It is more like a tea cafe house, which is fine with us, we go for the food & relaxing atmosphere. The menu was wonderful from the butternut squash soup down to the tempting desserts (we loved the chicken/walnut/cranberry salad sandwiches, which seem to be everyone's favorite) but let's not stop there, egg salad & cucumber ones were great also.We all enjoyed the mix fruit scone & all of us had a different kind of tea, which allow us the opportunity to try four kinds of tea. The chef/owner Carolyn came out & ask us how everything was which shows that she cares about her customers & had a great time speaking with her & told her next visit we will be back. So, if you want to do something different than what everyone else does when they visit Las Vegas, stop in have lunch or high tea it will be money well spent. Deb, Bill, Tiffany, Mary

My wife and I together with a friend were traveling in the Napa and San Francisco area from Phoenix and visited the tearoom. We each had their “Windsor Tea”. The sandwiches, scone and deserts were quite nice. Our server JJ and owner Jane were very helpful in choice of teas and fun to chat with. The décor was very nice and the separate rooms would serve parties well. We were in the Garden room with a window view overlooking the patio, very bright and cheerful. The price was reasonable and they also have a lunch menu that appeared quite substantial with something suitable to a variety of appetites. We recommend you visit when you in the area; we took several of their cards back to our concierge so others could have the opportunity to enjoy their experience as we did.

On way to Los Alamitos, Ca from Phoenix we decided to go through San Diego & stop for tea at your teahouse I had heard so much about. I made reservations for the 3 of us to have the Queen Victoria tea. It was fabulous from the greeting all the way through to the end. Food & presentation by Heather was excellent. We tried 2 different teas, the asparagus soup & savories & desserts were great, my niece really enjoyed the scone. This time for us made a wonderful stop on our trip to spend time together in a wonderful surroundings & great food. Next time we are in the San Diego rest assure we will be back.
