Candleberry Tea Room & Cafe / The Gift Box
I took my Mother to Candleberry Tea Room for tea and desert for Mother's Day (we actually came on the Saturday before, as the Tea Room is closed on Sunday). Candleberry's is one of her favorite get-aways. We continue to be impressed by the warm and friendly atmosphere, the variety of teas, and the quality of the deserts--especially the most delicous coconut pie. Candleberry's cocount pie is Mom's favorite and is now my favorite also. Candleberry is truely a gem to be enjoyed.

Bill... thanks for bringing your mom to our place for Mother's Day. We are so glad to see her again... that pie Michele makes is fantastic, isn't it. (I can brag on her culinary skills, even if she won't). Hope your trip back to Iowa was/is enjoyable. We'll see you next time you come to visit your mom.
