Belladonna Gift Boutique and Tea Room
Well, where do I start? We first heard about Belladonna years ago on Teamap. Was surprised to see that a tea place in the Mojave Desert could be ranked # 1 among the California tea rooms. We have been to various tea places and some were pretty good. A few months ago we got to stop by Belladonna just to take a look inside. We did not eat then but really loved the gorgeous interior and the graciousness of the owner. We told her we would be back for my wife's birthday to give it a try. We finally went yesterday and had a totally amazing experience. When we first walked in, there were 5 ladies who had just finished their tea time and were purchasing tea from the gift shop before leaving. As we were seated, there were three others at another table (mom, grandma and little girl) enjoying their time together. I noticed the owner went over to them and apologized that the scones were still baking and brought them another treat to enjoy while they were waiting ... now that is how you run a business!
