Not a place to go to if you are looking to have some food with your tea, but oh my goodness if you want tea they have it. Call ahead of time if you would like to have a group came in and have talk about the asain culture. Owns seem nice and they are always looking for more teas. I recommend a hot pot of tea on a cold day.
I'm missing you guys. I'm all alone up here in Minneaoplis and not one good Tea Room in walking distance. What I miss the most is the comfort of home you provided.Keep up the good work.
I use to work at the number tea room in illinois. I don't think the tea graden is the type of tea room I am use to. It reminds me of a place called Bubble Tea in Carbondale Illinois. I like the coolers and ice Teas but sadly I know it has been done better. I like to think they are more like a tea bar. There is not wait staf for the table. Inside you order at the counters and then sit where ever you want. The food you would find here is much like the food you will find a Starbucks (Don't expect a food menu). WARNING: Teas are stored in glass jars. Sun light will quickly dry out any flavors to the tea. I advise the owner to change the way they store their teas so that the flavors last longer. Also hot teas are served with the tea leaves in it. If you tea sits longer then the seeping time they will become bitter for the first pot and watered down for you hot water refill. Try asking for an extra cup to put your infuser in so that you can enjoy your second pot the same way as your frist pot.
