My husband and I with our son and daughter-in-law enjoyed a delicious Afternoon Tea for only $21 a person. We were impressed with the excellent loose leaf tea (Pursuit of Tea) steeped properly and the delicious homemade food. Their Urban tea menu consisted of a Mini Soup du jour, Egg salad tea sandwich Cucumber tea sandwich, Endive with Gorgonzola & Apple, Smoked trout tea sandwich, Gravlax and fennel tea sandwich Roast lamb tea sandwich Sweets: Lavender shortbread, Pecan old-fashioned, Russian tea cake with walnut Tea cake, Madeleine Scones with clotted cream butter and jam, Bittersweet chocolate pot de crème. We will definitely return to Cafe Choe when we visit San Diego for tea or dinner.
