Remember When Tea Room
I was lucky enough to attend a tea at Remember When this past Saturday. The home was lovingly decorated for Christmas. The owners were friendly and gracious. The food was beyond excellent. I have gone to many tea rooms over the years. I always check ahead to see if a tea room exists in the new town or city we visit. I can honestly say that this was the BEST I have ever experienced. Every little detail, form the sugar fashioned into little Christmas tree "cubes" to the gingerbread cream sandwich cut into gingerbread men with raisin eyes. The scones were delicious and warm and the cream was served in little salt dishes. We dined on a herb cheese appetizer, cream of potato soup, a pomigranite and apple salad, gingerbread cream, turkey and pesto and chicken salad sandwiches, scones and cream, red velvet cake ball, decorative Christmas cookie and chocolate peppermint trifle not to mention a Christmas blend tea. EVERYTHING was perfect. I hope that in time they open more days a week. Oh, also they have a cute little gift shop that was very reasonable in price
