I recently went to Southern Belles and Simply Country Gifts recently and enjoyed an afternoon Tea with a dear friend. They were very sweet to have fitted us in at the last minute! All I can say is WHY HAVEN'T I BEEN THERE BEFORE? They are tucked away in an Beautiful English Tudor Cottage under massive oak trees. They are very close to I-4 and easy to find and get too. The food was wonderful and very filling brought out on a silver tea tray. The scones were by far the VERY BEST IN THE WORLD....and I have been to a lot of tea rooms. It was relaxing, yet elegant. The Gift Store is HUGE.....so many gifts, tea items and Christmas Villages too numerous to note!...Beautifully decorated Trees loade with ornaments. One thing I really enjoyed was the large collection of Christian Books....many signed too! They had a lot of small groups too that day and I never felt ignored....the service was excellent....true southern Belles! The selection of teas were quite extensive, although their Peach Apricot Ice Tea and their House Blend...Brides Blend was the best... Can't wait to attend their Ladies Night Out soon and for Fall to come!!!
