August Tea Room
I recently had the pleasure of afternoon tea @ August Tea Room. When you arrive, you are greeted by the quaint gift shop 'Jillian's', and there is an abundance of teas to purchase of many flavors. Also, many beautiful china cups and teapots. There are lovely gifts for purchase, for yourself, or a loved one. Lety greeted us, and she is so sweet, and caring. Our lunch was a creative piece of art, to say the least! Lety and her staff do a wonderful job of brewing tea properly, and making everyone feel very special. Her royal tea, as well as the queen's tea provides an ample amount of food for the price. The queen's tea was fabulous, and served with a bowl of soup, FRESH fruit, I believe it was two smaller scones, both different kinds. Six various types of sandwiches, all fresh, and 3-4 hot savories. Many types of desserts. You will not go away hungry! For a relaxing visit over tea, try this place soon. You will feel very pampered, and the ambiance is so relaxing. All your worries will disappear. I hope to make it back here, very soon. Thank you Lety and staff, for providing a peaceful lunch retreat, and something very unique!
