Sister Tea House and Gift Shop
My sister and I went for a high tea after having purchased a voucher from a deal website. I was extremely unimpressed with this tea room. First, I had much difficulty making reservations, and upon arrival, they only had us down for lunch and told us that we probably wouldn't be able to have the high tea service. After some discussion, they managed to pull it together for us, and it was just so-so but I thought that was because they threw it together last minutes. The scones were cold (as if they hadn't been thawed properly), and the desserts were of the variety that you would find at Sam's club. Nonetheless, a friend of mine wanted to take me back here for my birthday and I agreed, and we had the same poor service as the first time. There was a bridal shower going on, and we were very much ignored. In fact, quite some time after our meal was over, we had to get up and go find a server so that we could pay since we could not wait any longer. The tea room is cute, and the chicken salad and soup were both pretty good, but I would not go back here again or reccomend it.
