Charlotte's Tea Room
I must say that I'm a bit old fashion - I don't correspond with emails or use Facebook, but I simply must review this charming tea room in a manner I am not accustomed to since I had positively one of the MOST wonderful afternoons there today. To partake in High Tea at Charlotte's is an experience. I have traveled extensively and this establishment is more than a tea room or even a restaurant. It is a respite from our busy lives. Three themed rooms grace this 200 year old elegant home built by a minister. Each room has it's own china - including the porch, which was much too hot to sit today. So my party and I enjoyed the air conditioning and some cool lemonade. The scones were the BEST I have had, the salad crisp and fresh and the pineapple upside down cake better than I make. Can't say enough good things about Charlotte's. You must try it yourself. I highly recommend this experience.
