What a precious discovery! Hidden behind a burger joint and sharing space with a speakeasy (but working different hours), the lady who runs this tea house has been sharing her devotion for tea with New York city for the last three years and a half. She exclusively presents small-batch teas from single plantations in India, of which she can tell many stories, and she serves them as part of an all home made delicious high tea service. The ambiance is gorgeous, and the service just perfect for this type of event. This kind of dedication for the craft requires a lot of effort. I was so grateful that I could take part of it, and I'm looking forward to sharing it with more of my friends. [Originally posted on Google Maps.]
