The Potted Geranium
I heard about this tea room through some customers walking through my store singing it's praises, so I decided to try it out for lunch. For $20 you get a plate with a main course, a side, and the most delicious currant scone I have ever had the pleasure of eating, along with a pot of a tea of your choice. On one side of the menu are the food options, and on the entire other side of the menu are the tea options. Every one I tried was a hit - they even have an adorable sugar cube collection. (On the table are regular sugar cubes with tiny tongs, but in the gift shop are designer sugar cubes!) The tea room is in a house as shown above, very adorable decorations and peaceful instrumental music playing throughout each room. The service is very classical and elegant, and the servers are also very polite and sweet. I came back with my boyfriend and even HE loved the whole experience! Ladies, take your friends, take your boyfriends, and if you bring someone who is visiting from out of town, I assure you they will leave with a pleasant and new experience. I apologize that I cannot remember the names of the teas, but there were a variety of fruit teas, black teas, green teas, herbal teas, and even a special Potted Geranium mix itself.
